I am happy to know that the next international Conference of NRIs is to be held from 24th to 28th January, 2008 at New Delhi-Jaipur. The NRIs have tremendous opportunities for investment in India.

The practice of staying abroad of Indian Citizens for employment business or even vocation with an intention for uncertain duration of stay is continuing for more than a few decades.

The Non- Resident foreign citizens of Indian Organization are also treated on par with non resident Indian Citizens for the purpose of certain facilities. Though being in a different socio-cultural set up altogether NRIs in abroad contribute substantially in strengthening India’s economy.

I am confident that the Congress comprising of more than 500 NRIs from different parts of the world will definitely provide a platform for interaction between the NRIs and Govt. and wish the congress a Grand Success.
